Merging Knowledge to evolve!!

Hello!!

My name is Josefa, I'm 30 years old and I'm from Chile. I am a biologist by profession, I worked almost 10 years in science and since last year I am working to give life to Puente, an interdisciplinary and non-profit project that seeks to unify ancestral and popular knowledge from different cultures and disciplines with modern scientific knowledge.

While working in the world of science, I realised an important need to integrate knowledge across disciplines and bring it in a simple way to society; that is why I created Puente in order to create a comprehensive and flexible knowledge framework that allows us to move forward in a healthy way as societies and find greater well-being for our planet and our people.

As the saying goes "two heads think better than one", this is why I propose to unite the thoughts of different worldviews and currents to, through different perspectives, create a living paradigm. For this we will do bibliographical studies on the different disciplines, phenomena and/or worldviews while studying them from experience. Through interviews, participation and experiences.

The main platforms of the project are already up and running, and now begins the adventure of finding and bringing to light the information in different parts of the world in a simple, playful and beautiful way; so that from the living library that is the world we can create this virtual library of free access for all.

For this we need technical, human and living resources. For the moment the project has advanced thanks to hard work and perseverance, I have learned to edit videos and audio, create web pages, administer and much more.

But also thanks to the good will of my people and people I have met along the way, we have created some introductory videos that you can find on the project's youtube channel (Proyecto Puente: Integrando Conocimientos - YouTube), our website (www.integrandoconocimientos.org ) and started a couple of research projects.

But now we have reached the point where we need your help! As we apply for funding and plan our financial strategy, I'd love to be able to keep going strong in all areas of the project and pay these people back with more than smiles and love!

We need funds to mobilize to the different communities, obtain and process information, pay for video editing services, website maintenance, food, sleep, and much more.
