In Dire Need of Support to Clear Rent Arrears

My name is Maureen. I have never been desperate and Vulnerable in my entire life like I am right now. This platform is my last hope.

I have rent arrears of four months since March 2020. The landlord is on my neck and he has given me two weeks to vacate his house.

I used to work in a private school far away from home as an account clerk. I have two small kids and an old granny who brought me up who are depending on me. I was given leave without pay since March.

I have been surviving on borrowed money from mobile apps in Kenya; Tala, Branch, Fuliza, Equitel and Mshwari. These apps are on my neck right now. I am lost and have suicidal thoughts which I am trying so hard to fight. No one is willing to lend me anything 😔 putting a meal on the table is a privilege right now.

My landlord insist I should pay his arrears or else I should vacate. He can't understand me on grounds that the government of Kenya through Kenya Revenue Authority is still pursuing him to pay rental income tax.

I have been looking for another job since March unsuccessfully. I am qualified Bachelor of commerce graduate but no one is willing to hire at this time.

I am humbly requesting you to help me raise on my foot by helping me clear my arrears then open a small green grocery to help me in the near future.
