Imani’s Medical Expenses

Hello there! I'm Imani, a freelance photographer who was recently diagnosed with Cauda Equina Syndrome. That’s basically when the disc in your spine presses against your nerves so badly it severely affects your bodily functions. This syndrome is considered a medical emergency & I was informed that I had 24-48hrs to do surgery. Had I done it after the 48hr mark, I would’ve become paralyzed and possibly been on a catheter for the rest of my life. I won’t get into the physical and mental implications of that whole ordeal, but God clearly still wants me here.

As a freelance photographer who's just now getting into the rhythm of things, it's quite challenging to settle my medical expenses. As it stands, I have a bill of $3,000,000JMD to pay off in 10 months. I’d appreciate ANY amount of contributions! Every mikkle mek a mukkle!

I still have some ways to go in terms of healing, but I'm pushing to return back to some normalcy.
