Tere! Eelmine aasta jooksin ma Tartu Linnamaratoni 21km distantsi. Et mitte niisama joosta, kogusin ma raha MTÜ Pärnu Naiste Tugikeskus jaoks. Koos teie abiga saime kogutud üle €370.
Sel aastal on mul plaanis joosta Tallinna Maratoni 21km ja Tartu Linnamaratoni 21km distants. Seekord kogun raha MTÜ Naiste Tugi- ja Teabekeskus jaoks, kellel on varjupaik/tugikeskus Tartus ja kes osutavad oma teenuseid ka Põlvamaal.

Teie toetus on mulle ka suureks motivatsiooniks, kuna soovin parandada oma eelmise aasta tulemust ja saada aeg alla kahe tunni.

• turvalist pelgupaika pärast vägivallajuhtumit või vägivallaohu korral;
• võimalust rahuneda, välja puhata;
• vajadusel ajutist elupaika;
• psühholoogilise nõustamise ja kriisiabi võimalust;
• abi ametiasutustega (nt politsei, sotsiaalamet) suhtlemisel;
• informatsiooni probleemi juriidiliste külgede kohta (nt kohus, lahutus, lastekaitse);
• tuge nn uue elu alustamisel;

Hello! Last year I ran Tartu City Marathon 21km distance for charity Pärnu Women's Support Centre. We have collected over €370 with your help.

This year I have a plan to run Tallinn Marathon 21km and Tarty City Marathon 21km distance. This time I am collecting money for charity Women's Support and Information Centre. They provide women's shelter and support in Tartu and Põlvamaa.

Your support is also a huge motivation for my running goals, as I am planning to beat my last year's result and get out of two hours mark.

The shelter aims to create conditions for stopping the mechanisms of domestic violence, to enable rehabilitation and resocialisation of survivors and reduce the risk of repeated violence. The shelter offers the comprehesive assistance that is needed by women trying to break the cycle of domestic violence. This inclues a 24-hour hotline, a safe place for mental and physical recovery, psychological and legal assistance, information about violence-free alternatives, etc. The shelter also maintains close contact with other services and officials (e.g. the police, doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists) to broaden the services available to clients. WSIC has held over 200 Public lectures and trainings provided to: social workers in the city, police officers, medical providers, students etc.
