Emily, Aristotelis and Errikos are 12 year old. They are the members of the I - AQUAPONICS team.
The team designed and implemented an autonomous robot which performs, records and sends water quality measurements to large scale aquaponics installations.
Their project won the first place in the Greek robotics competition, so the team will represent Greece to the 2018 World Robot Olympiad in Thailand on 16-18 November 2018.
They need your support to cover the cost of the trip to Thailand, and the purchase of extra robotics equipment, in order to enhance their project. Αn estimation of the costs is the following:
- 6 tickets to Thailand (3 kids and 3 parents): 3700€
- 3 hotel rooms for 5 nights: 1000€
- Equipment for the project: 4000€ (approx. 3000€ for water quality probes and 1000€ for the rest of the equipment)
- Shipping and other costs: 1300€
The team hopes to cover the expenses by crowdfunding and sponsors.

Some history on the team :)
Emilia, Aristotelis, and Errikos graduated from elementary school in June 2018. They are good friends for many years, and started robotic classes at a very young age.
In 2016, when they were ten, they participated together with George in the national WeDo open competition with title “Our Galaxy”, organized by WRO Hellas. The team won the first place among 330+ teams of students up to 12 years old.
In 2017, they gave a speech in TEDx Kids presenting their journey to robotics.
This brings us to 2018 with their i-aquaponic project representing Greece in the World Robotics Olympiad in Thailand.
