This is my brother John Erick Fernandez, filipino and 26 years of age living with his wife and two adorable children. He is the breadwinner of his family earning a small amount of money through selling plants to sustain their needs and daily living. He always does everything to earn and support the needs of his family. Being a hardworking father, he sometimes do part time delivery of goods as an additional income especially at this time of pandemic. He was a dedicated man and his love for his family is unconditional.

In an unforseen circumstances, it was Saturday of the 11th day of September around one in the afternoon when an accident happened to my brother. He was driving his motorcycle down to town to deliver some goods when he was hit by another vehicle which is about to crossed the road. With the great impact of collision, he bumped his face right on the metal bar of the vehicle and fell off the ground unconscious. A moment later, he woke up with face covered with blood as he took his helmet off his head.

This incident was witnessed by the police officer of the town and my brother was brought immediately to the nearest health center for an immediate medical response. The police officer called us and informed us regarding the terrible accident that happened. With my father, we hurriedly went to the health center however took us an hour and a half to get there.

As we arrived, we were informed immediately about the case of my brother and told us that we need to bring my brother to another hospital due to his severe injury. He could hardly breath due to his broken nose that keeps on bleeding. His jaw was painful. We were referred to a regional Hospital located at the northern part of the City.

I accompanied my brother and ride in an ambulance. Upon arrival, my brother was taken to the emergency room and due to high number of patients in the hospital, it took a couple of hour before he was taken care of. It was already seven in the evening when he was checked by the attending physician and was given pain reliever. The next hours, he went through several test,- Xray, ultrasound and CT scan.

The next day, the result of the examinations were released and according the doctor, he needs operation. He will undergo surgical operation due to multiple facial fracture. The operation will cost of atleast Php 180,000 for the surgery and apparatuses. As the doctor continue to explain, depression started with anxiety and doubts of where are we going to find for that huge amount of money. My father don't have a stable job and earns only a certain amount of money to sustain our family. My mother is a housewife who is taking care of our eldest sister. My eldest sister is having medication and it is only a week ago when he was discharged from the hospital for home medication. We haven't even recovered yet from the finances from the hospital. It breaks my heart to see my family in pain of how to able to overcome our problem, emotionally, financially and physically.

As of this day, we have been asking for help to earn and complete the amount of money for the operation of my brother and it really hard to find because everyone is suffering from great loss caused by this pandemic. Seeing my brother feeling hopeless whether he'd be able to get a chance to paint a smile on his face again being severely injured and broken. Every single day that passes is a pain he endures yet still remains strong for his loved ones who always pray that soon everything will be alright and fine.

"I wish, I could see his face painted with a smile as he continues to be a loving husband to his wife, a kind brother and good son, and an ever caring father to his children.

I humbly asked even in a small amount of generosity could bring a big help for the operation if my brother.

Thank you so much and I would appreciate if you could share this post to everyone you know.
