Campaign Story
Hi Everyone,
I am knocking on your hearts to help with my brother's hospital bill and medical treatment so that he may live a longer and healthier life serving the Lord.
James was rushed to the emergency room on June 19 due to pancytopenia, a condition in which the three major blood components—red blood cells (RBC), white blood cells (WBC), and platelets—have a relatively low count. Since he was already immunocompromised, he was required to undergo blood transfusions to replace and increase his RBC, WBC, and platelets due to this condition (a very low ability to fight off infections and diseases). He underwent a Bone Marrow Aspiration procedure after the blood transfusion to determine the underlying cause of the pancytopenia. The results showed that he had Aplastic Anemia. Aplastic Anemia is a rare and serious condition that occurs when the bone marrow fails to produce enough new blood cells. Treatment options for Aplastic Anemia include blood transfusions, immunosuppressive therapy, and bone marrow transplantation.
Apart from the above case, he is also experiencing consistent hypertension and constant fever, which must be addressed by other experts. The intervention of a cardiologist and an infectious disease specialist is needed aside from his current doctors (a pediatrician and a hematologist). Consequently, with the need for medication, specialized doctors, treatments, and procedures, we need to raise at least half a million to sustain all his medical expenses and pursue the entire diagnostic and therapeutic procedure.
In order to help us through this challenging time, we are reaching out to our community and asking for any financial support you might be able to provide. Any contribution will be greatly valued and go a long way toward assisting us in giving James the best medical care possible. Any donation, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated and go a long way toward aiding my brother in his battle with this condition.
Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity. May God bless you and keep you!

James' recovery
Update posted by Camille Abello at 02:48 pmHello, everyone.Thank you for all of your help, donations, and prayers. James is recovering well, and the doctor has approved his discharge; nevertheless, he will still require outpatient therapy and medications to fully improve his condition. He is now on hold at the hospital because we still have a balance. . . . .
