Hospital bill

Baby Kayla, barely 7 months inside her mom's tummy was rushed to hospital early November 2017 because her mom was then diagnosed with pre-eclampsia a condition that is brought by high blood pressures in pregnancy. Baby Kayla’s mom was advised to stay in the hospital for close monitoring. This saw us make visits to several hospitals wishing and hoping that something heavenly would drop down and save the mum and the baby’s lives.Luckily, we were referred a to a hospital near Utawala, Nairobi (Komarock Modern Hospital) a private owned hospital, where we were received and taken really good care of for over 3 weeks. Despite the interventions provided at the hospital, Baby Kayla, barely weighing half the required weight (1.05 kg) was born November 27, 2017.

Upon delivery, Baby Kayla was admitted to NICU and was placed inside the incubator. With the complications of premature baby, Baby Kayla is still admitted up to this time. Our family is anxiously waiting for her desired weight gain to be achieved and for her to have a good sign of feeding so the we can bring her home.

What is pressing our family is the huge sum of hospital bills to settle. As of this writing, baby Kayla is now on her5thweek stay in the hospital. The hospital bill is now ranging close to Kshs. 600,000 not to mention the borrowed money from supportive friends incurred by the mom when she was discharged after C-Section delivery.Kayladeserves all the chance to survive. I would like to humbly request anyone to extend their loving support to Baby Kayla.
