Hospital Bed for Luz Amparo, a multiple sclerosis patient in Colombia

Hello!

I am in Colombia and met Luz Amparo Henao while working with secundary multiple sclerosis patients. She lives alone, and because of her disease she can't move her legs anymore. During the day she has someone to help her with daily chores, but at night she can't move for herself and has difficulty rotating her own body to change position. She had a friend who died because of pressure ulcers and she is concerned about developing one during the prolonged night hours that she can't appropiatly move.

That's why we started this inniciative!. To get her a hospital bed that can automatically change positions during the night and make it easier for her to roll over, get in and of her bed from her wheel chair and prevent pressure ulcers!.
