Hi!

I am asking for your help for my horse's huge vet bills since I lost my job due to Covid-19 and I haven't been able to get a new job. First you can read our story and after that I tell about the reason for this fundraiser. Please take this moment to read it and donate if possible! If you can, please share it too! I am very grateful for any kind of support!

Our story:

I am a 16 year old girl from Estonia but I have been living in Finland for 6 years now. I have always been very passionate about horses and horseriding but due to our family's finanical situation I have never been able to take many horseriding classes. Still, I am extremely grateful for all the lessons I have had and the few seasons I have ridden in ridingschool. I had always dreamt about getting my own horse one day but this dream seemed to be somewhere in the long future and I never thought it would become a reality at this age. I managed to get a job at 15y old while going to school. I was working every evening, cleaning offices to collect money for my dream.

One day I found this beautiful mare that was for sale and it was just in my price range. Since the first wave of Covid-19 had already gotten pretty bad at this point I couldn't go to see and try her myself because the horse lived in Estonia. Thankfully my amazing trainer went to see her and she told me that if I won't buy her, she will. That's when I knew that she was the right horse for me and I bought her. At first she lived in Estonia at my trainer's farm and I didn't see her for few months due to traveling restrictions.

When the Covid-19 finally started to fade for a while I could go to see my beautiful girl. I instantly fell in love with her. She was the sweetest horse ever! I spent the whole summer holiday in Estonia with my horse and fell in love with her every day more and more. We even performed at home for a birthday party with a horse "dance". It was the best feeling ever!

Unfortunatley the summer came to an end and I had to leave back home, to Finland, but I promised to my horse that I would bring her to Finland one day. It was also a time when I started college while working every single night to make my dreams true. I was very tired but it was all worth it when She finally arrived. We rode a lot and were walking in forests around the stables. Everyone at the ridingschool loved her and she sometimes attended lessons. She was truly an amazing horse!

The reason for fundraiser:

Unfortunatley you can never know beforehand if something happens and prepare for it. My sweet girl got colic. After a whole day of trying to get the symptoms to go down, there was no luck. I had to call a vet who came to the stables to check and treat her. That unfortunatley did not help and the next day we had to go to the horse hospital. There she finally got better after a few days and we could take her home. The vet bill for the few days that she was sick were enourmous. It was about 2000€! When she finally got better and we started to ride again and everything looked brighter she managed to hurt her foot. When she didn't get better after a few days of not riding we had to call the vet again. The vet treated her foot and took some x-rays and the bill for that came about 500€.

Because of the whole Covid-19 situation I lost my job since the offices closed and I haven't been able to get a new job. I have done some babysitting jobs here and there but that won't cover nearly enough. That's why I am begging for your help. I can't pay back the bills myself anymore and I really don't want to sell my beloved friend. If you can help with just 1€ I would be more than thankful!

sincerely,

Jane and Bellatri
