Hope For Liza

Knowing the financial toll of having cancer, we hope to appeal to your kind hearts for help in behalf of Liza Duldulao Amaro, our friend and former colleague.

Last October 28, 2019, Liza was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer which sadly has already metastasized to her liver.

Since her hysterectomy last October18, 2019, her weight dropped to 31 kilos already. Assessing her present condition, her surgeon Dr. Dante Ang could not yet recommend any surgery on her liver. However, she is about to begin her chemotherapy to be monitored by her oncologist, Dr. Heinrik Strebel of Philippine General Hospital.

For someone who used to live paycheck to paycheck and struggled to make ends meet even before this unfortunate event and who has a young daughter who depends on her, things are now certainly becoming more and more challenging for Liza each day.
