Hope Birthing Center

A safe birthing place for 100,000 expecting moms in Bukuma village Luwero in Uganda. Thousands of moms don't make it through the child-birthing process and likewise lots of infants lives are lost during child birth. The reason for this is because of the unsafe home deliveries supervised by unprofessional and untrained Traditional Birthing Assistants (TBAs). Hope Birthing Center will give a safe birthing environment for expecting moms and prevent loss of life associated with the unsafe practices that are prevalent today.
