HOMES FOR WAR VICTIMS - Africa Lights Project for Victims of Torture in Northern Uganda
The Africa Lights Project (ALP) is a grassroots Life Change Improvement that seeks to rehabilitate and restore victims of torture, war and conflicts in Northern Uganda by shifting them from Life of Darkness to Life of LIGHTS.
All donations shall be directed towards building simple houses that will provide shelter for abandoned women and children of war and torture in Northern Uganda. As a result of heavy sunshine and rain, these new homes shall harbors victims and survivors giving them a place to put their heads instead of under the trees.
These new homes are design to give Light to shelter-less women and children under going mental, physical and psychological problems as a results of over a decade of conflict in the region. "The power of humanity is in our Hearts"
