Home Sweet Home – Help Us Build A Home For Our Dad

Hello, my name is Nur Fatin Akila Binti Jeli and I’m from Malaysia. The main reasons for this fundraising campaign is to help my dad build his dream house, which will be a gift for his retirement.

My dad, Jeli Bin Jeratil is currently 58 years old at the moment and he is working as a driver. In two years he will be retire from his job and for that my sister and I want to give him a gift which is a house that he has been dreaming of for years. Ever since last year my dad has been visiting his hometown whenever he have a chance just to clean the land he inherit from my late grandfather. He would cut the grass and the trees and even pick some fruits. My dad told me that once he retire, he would move to his hometown and build his own house. He even plan to raise some chickens and cows and do some farming. A life he have been dreaming of since long ago.

But to build a house will costs a lot of money and right now my dad couldn’t save much because of our family debt that he has been paying since years ago. I remembered my dad used to work two jobs at one time, where during the day he would work as a driver (his actual job) and at night as a security just to make extra income for our family. My dad cant take any more bank loans as he has already reached his limits and now paying the loans with high deduction to the point he only had about $147 left for his salary. Honestly, it breaks my heart to watched my dad working so much for us. He had been doing everything he can just to make sure that our needs are enough. He would put us first before himself and had endured so much for our sake. So I want to at least help my dad to fulfill his dream in having a life he wants at his hometown (the town where he was born) and having his own home.
