Campaign Story
I bet everyone have a dream home. I just want to buy a flat. As a blind person getting a mortgage is very hard. Banks are reluctant to lend money to a disabled person. However, I never gave up, and this year, together with my wife, we managed to save for the advance payment. It took 3 years, but we managed and we were very very happy.
However, after contracting the appartment, lending the money from the bank, the Romanian goverment changed the VAT rate. Instead of 5% we need to pay 19%. That basically means we are 14190 euro short(about 17000 USD).
In all honesty, we are desperate. We borrowed all we could from the bank and family. Although I greatly dislike it, fundraising is our last chance. If we don't manage to raise this amount, we will also loose the advance payment, 16000 euro.
For us 16K eur is a lot. We made this amount in 3 years of hard work.
So, please help.
