Campaign Story
Stomach/esophagus cancer is the 9th commonest cancer in Malaysia and it is big burden on the people in Sabah. Yet stomach/esophagus cancer is less well known in the eye of the public and due to the low awareness, stomach/esophagus cancer patient received little attention and much less contribution from charities.
Stomach/esophagus cancer sufferers are unable to eat and they need milk feeding which are delivered via tubes and pump into the bowel directly.
The Stomach/esophagus surgery is starting it’s service in Sabah and we are appealing for donation to buy home feeding pumps. We plan to lend these feeding pumps to patient so they can be discharged home from hospital to be with their family at home.
