HIMALAYAN CRAFT

Hello,

We are a group of 5 young entrepreneurs in a remote region of Himalayas and our vision is to start a venture of bamboo craft. Now a days this craft is vanishing slowly and the artisans who are associated with this craft are struggling for their livelihood, in other words they are unable to fulfill their day to day necessities. They are unable to provide the education, food etc. to their children and because of this many artisans are leaving their ancestral work and migrating to the big cities in search of job to earn money so that they can raise their children and provide financial support to their families. we want them to stay back in their village/home and provide them good earnings. We have few main objectives to start this venture :-

1. To promote the local bamboo craft and the artisans who are associated with this craft.

2. To stop the migration

3. Providing them work at their in their own space so that they can earn good money so that they can nurture their children

4. Encouraging the people towards the environment

5.Good and positive use of more and more natural resources
