Campaign Story
Neil is an exemplary civil servant. He has dedicated his time and service to the residents of Barangay Kapitolyo, demonstrating that governance, honesty, and integrity go hand in hand. Without hesitations, he is always ready to take that extra step beyond his own duty.
However, as by some random twist and turn of fate, the helper needs help.
Neil has been diagnosed with Cerebral Cavernous Malformation. This is considered a benign vascular brain tumor. But in Neil’s case, his blood vessels already leaked causing seizures.
To date, he has already survived two episodes of seizures – one of which had him have a bad fall causing hematoma around his eyes and lips. He is currently taking Oxcarbazepine (Trileptal) twice a day to manage this. Even so, he is still highl at-risk for another seizure, a stroke, paralysis or even death if the tumor is not removed as soon as possible. The surgery would cost an estimated amount of Php200,000.00.
Being a barangay volunteer, his monthly honorarium would not be enough to cover the cost.
Given the situation, we are humbly asking for monetary donations, big or small, so we can push through with his surgery. You may also send a direct message if you intend to donate through other channels.
Thank you very much.
