Help me find my dad.

Dear friends,

I am Karin, I live in Israel and I'm 29 years old. I have a BA in business management, a good job in the industry, and yet, it is still hard for me to save money for a rainy day. Israel is a great country, but financially, not that great.

I have never thought I will ask for financial help. but I understood that there's nothing to be ashamed of in asking for help, if I need to do this for my family who needs my help, then i will, we will do anything to protect our family, right? :)

My father is a great man, he was a great dad and a great husband. he made a mistake back then, he took a loan from people he should take from. and when he needed to bring the loan back, he got in trouble. he didn't think this through, he didn't think of the consequences, he just wanted to save our family from a big problem, but he didn't understand that what he was doing, was leading to a bigger one.

My father had left 13 years ago, without saying a word, he left the country, and left everything behind, he left us behind. we, eventually, had to deal with the debts. we didn't understand what happened, he kept it from us as a secret. he contacted us later on, crying, saying he was sorry and didn't know what to do, because people were coming to demand the money back and he decided to leave to keep us out of it.

I won't lie, it was hard at the beginning. we were all mad at him, crying and missing a lot, my mom had the worse time ever, and us, the kids, had to be mature and stand for her and support her, we were young, we were kids. a while later we understood that after all, he is our dad and always loved us and gave us everything we ever needed, he was our dad and acted like it, until he fell down and kept it to himself, he got scared so he ran away. he told us back then, that he wants to keep in touch with us, that he loves us so much, that he is scared that the people he took money from will find out and come for us.

after all these years, we managed to clean a big part of the debt. so now, scaredless, I am going to try my best and find him (we think we know where he is) and I am ready to face it, that's why I'm asking for your help, in raising $5000, to assist me in buying the plain ticket and paying for paperwork for a private investigation office. The target date to fly there is by the end of November.

I don't have enough words to describe what this would do to me, how much this would help me and my family.

I want my dad back!!
