Help Ma’am Nanet

Her fight goes on. Mrs. Nanet Dela Cruz is a teacher in Angono Elementary School, known and loved by many. We appeal to your kind heart as she is the sole breadwinner to her family and she needs all the help possible. She's now in ICU. We want her to get well. She needs our help.

On July 15, 2017, Ma'am Nanet was admitted to the Angono Medics Hospital due to excessive headache, accompanied by dizziness and vomitting. A series of lab test showing a hemorrhage on the subarachnoid of her brain prompted the physician, Dr. Abe, to advise a transfer to a better equipped hospital. The following day, she had to be rushed to the emergency room of Marikina Valley Medical Center because of a blood clot that caused the deterioration of consciousness at an alarming rate. She almost in a coma state (Glascow Coma Scale of 7). Attending neurologist, Dr. Ted Cruz, and neurosurgeon, Dr. Barredo, managed to stabilize her vital signs.

Ma'am Nanet underwent several procedures afterwards such as CT angiogram on July 17 and craniotomy on July 18. While she responds positively to stimulus, she remains in ICU for close monitoring. This is a difficult time for Maam Nanet's family. They need help raising funds to sustain the medical care she needs. More than ever, she needs us. She has touched several lives. She's a friend, a mother, a second mother to many of her students, past and present. Hope we can help her with this battle.
