Help life hope center

Life Hope Center, a non-profit organization based in the Gaza Strip, was established on December, 2018 by a dedicated team of male and female nurses to improve the life the life status of Gaza elderly and patients.

About 2 million people live in the Gaza Strip and the percentage of the elderly population is 3.9%. The Strip suffers from an increase in chronic diseases, such as stress, diabetes and heart diseases.

The Strip also suffers from the lack of hospital beds. Thus, some patients are not allowed to stay in hospital to receive full attention and follow up. In homes, they do not get sufficient care as in hospitals.

LHC came to work with them to achieve positive health change, raise awareness of the importance of home nursing care, and provide nursing services at a low cost.

The increasing need for home nursing is very necessary in our Gazan society because of the rapid increase in the elderly population, chronic diseases and spinal cord injuries.

We have established the Life Hope Center to provide all the required home care services for Gaza patients and elderly.

LHC Mission

-We enhance the dignity and self-esteem of all our patients, and strive to provide them with a good quality of care and help them spend their day naturally and raise their health.

We also appreciate the time, skills and expert opinions of our staff. We are committed to energy. We do not expect the employee to reconcile from any aspect of the center. We aim to provide employment opportunities that offer our employees a job.

LHC Objectives

-• Take full care and provide the health care service with all the details of the patient and he is at home and with confidence and safety as is the nature of life and unexpected and unspecified variables

• Support from patient equipment and devices such as urinary catheters, feeding tubes, wheelchairs, air mattresses, diapers, some medicines and all that is needed to heal wounds and ulcers.

• Take full care and provide the health care service with all the details of the patient and he is at home and with confidence and safety as is the nature of life and unexpected and unspecified variables

• Support from patient equipment and devices such as urinary catheters, feeding tubes, wheelchairs, air mattresses, diapers, some medicines and all that is needed to heal wounds and ulcers.

• Provide moral support to family members and provide educational lectures that help them deal with situations in their homes

• Introducing and teaching the concept of home nursing in the highest form and highest degree, in accordance with human values and noble goals with high scientific and medical methods, enabling home nursing staff to play an important role to take the patient to live in dignity despite the challenges of the disease.
