Here in Chiang Mai, Thailand, the lockdowns and travel restrictions over the past months have devastated the local economy which relies heavily on tourism, leaving many people and families in dire situations with little to no support from the government. Many families have been made homeless and are unable to buy food and basic supplies to get through each day. people waiting in line for food and supplies

Fortunately there are people here who are trying to help the situation by organising food banks and helping to distribute food and basic supplies to those in need. Unfortunately there is never enough food to go around and once the food that we distribute has gone, the remaining people go hungry.

It is absolutely heartbreaking to see families with young children having to live like this so I am obviously doing my bit to help which includes trying to raise some funds, 100% of which will go to buying food and basic supplies to hand out to those who are desperately in need.

Thank you for reading and I hope you are able to donate a small amount to this cause, even just a few pounds will be a big help. I can provide receipts and proof to anyone who wants to see this.

The Total raised on this site is not correct. I changed the currency from THB to GBP as this site does not accept my Thai bank account and the total has updated incorrectly.
