Helping small scale farmers get consistent income to support their livelihoods.

Hello all, my name is Grace from a small village Kiambu Kenya, mostly made up of small scale farmers.I have been brought up and taken through school by my mum who was a farmer. I saw first hand and experienced the struggle of trying to make an income out of small scale farming. Due to poor prices for their farm produce, the farmers lack a dependable source of of income and leads this leads to a vicious cycle of poverty that is only becoming worse. After finishing my degree I discovered I can actually try and change this. I came up with a plan of enabling small scale farmers earn an income from farming. With help, I created an e-commerce site for marketing and ordering of produce. We provide logistical services for the produce from the farm to the clients, as well as marketing for the farmers. We walk the journey with them in providing relevant information on proper organic farming methods. I have already established a niche on the target market, and what I need are funds to help improve the efficiency of the e-commerce site to cater for a larger number of audience as well as funds to set up necessary warehouse materials for the storage of produce. Please assist in making my start up not become a common statistic. I want to succeed, I want farmers to succeed and I want to break the cycle.
