Helping rebuild and saving my family

Dear all, i am Bakr Abojarad, i am neurosurgery resident. I am married to my soul for 1 year.

Once upon a time, I had a happy life with my small family, which included my wife, little girl, my father, and my lovely mother. During this time, I had dreams, hopes, and plans. I was just a physician with a dream to complete my training and residency program in neurosurgery. We lived in our sweet home, meeting every weekend to share food and stories after a week full of night shifts and hard work. But all of these things ended when Israel started to attack Gaza. When the war started, a horrible nightmare began. It forced us to leave our home and separated me from my little girl.

Israel has not destroyed my home, my father's home, and my grandfather's building. It also destroyed my training hospital. It attacks all hospitals at Gaza strip where we can work. The war killed my dreams, my life and my future.

We are forced to leave our home in Gaza city and escaped three times under airstrikes and bombing. Now i live in Rafa in a tent with inhuman condition.

Here in Rafah, we hardly cover our expenses as i and my wife lost our job at Shifa hospital which become out of services. In addition, the prices of essential goods has dramatically increases up to x10 normal. Also, there is a shortage in all essential goods especially pediatric ones like diaper, milk and clothes.

When I see cute babies suffering from a lot of diseases as a result of starvation, I have nightmares about what could happen to my little girl. Every day, I have worries about whether I can offer milk and diapers to my little girl or not.

This is my cute baby, who had her first birthday 🎂 under sounds of bombing and airstrikes. I struggle to bring healthy food for her, and to find diaper and milk. Sometime i inforced to use unsafe methods and this caused sever complications for her

After flagging Rafah as safe zone, Israel army declared it as combat zone. So i see only traveling abroad is the last resort. It is hardly to make this decision but i have to leave to survive and protect my family especially my sweet girl.

I don't want to leave my home, but I am afraid of losing my family and my little girl. I don't want to see her suffering from starvation and dehydration; I want to save her. So, I have decided to leave for Egypt and try to complete my residency program and start a new life.

Unfortunately, traveling across Egyption border cost at least 6000$ for person. I want to leave Gaza with my father "khader", mother "Renia", my wife "Duaa", and my sweet girl "Renia". Also my sister and her family (Alaa, mohammed, Seba and Sama) this will cost me at least 40000 $ and i need at least 5000$ as a cost for living in Egypt and 20000 to complete residency programme for me and my wife.(30000 for each one)
