Helping PWD/ PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES Community

My name is Jaypee originally from the Philippines 🇵🇭 and currently stuck in Laos due to covid -19.

May 2021, the Lao government announced its second strict lockdown due to the spread of Covid-19 here in Laos.

Everything must be stopped from business, schools, and all types of leisure and travels. This gives a difficult situation to most of the local community and we started a food drive initiative that offers food assistance to stranded university students, the local community as well as PWD / PERSON WITH DISABILITY. The blinds, deaf, mute and all of all types. They are the most vulnerable people of the community as they only rely on doing massage for a living but when the LOCKDOWN keep on extending for the 4th time since it was announced in May it becomes real trouble for this community. They won't be able to provide food for themselves and their family, thus every week we are delivering food for them to help them in this difficult time.

One morning after we deliver food to the PWD community their head ask for a personal talk and asking for HELP on their situation as several families are living in the centre and there are no other means for them to earn money aside from doing massage.

They ask HELP that they can use for the long term and be able to keep them going for the long run.

They have a rented house for their community to start doing handicraft, massage and things that PWD can earn money. But this building needed a few stuff to get it to function.

They will be needing the following:

Second-hand air conditioning( for massage ) Paint (to make the rented house nicer) Massage bed( second hand, there are many massage shop closed and selling cheap one) these are the main things that can help them sustain their livelihood and be able to stand on their feet even if the COVID stops in the future.

I am humbly asking for help, let's help make a difference in this community of disabled people..we can't help anyone in this difficult time but we can make a HUGE help for this PWD community.
