Helping Out a Friend

Hello, I have a friend who lives in Palestine, he wants to pursue his studies in medicine, but the circumstances of the country won't allow him to do so. A while ago, his visa application to Germany got accepted, and he thought this was it, this was his opportunity to leave and pursue his studies, he had worked so hard to raise that money for the visa, but unfortunately, he couldn't leave. The country makes it almost impossible to leave.

He told me that he wants to try and go to Turkey because this will be easier but he does not have the money to apply for the visa, he told me he is very depressed and thinking of just giving up.. and this is when I decided to try and raise money for him. He does not know that I am doing this, I don't want to get his hopes up just to disappoint him, I really hope I will be able to raise the money needed and help him out.
