Helping Mauricio

Do you have someone in your life that is just so special for you? Well I do, his Name is Mauricio. He is my older brother and he always have been there to protect me from anything. Now he needs me. I am collecting money for my brother surgery. He is just 32 years old and have dealt with arthritis rheumatoid since he was 15. It is not a common illness for young people to have but somehow, he does.

The illness started with his joints getting swallowed. Once Mauricio was diagnosed, he started taking METHOTREXATE. Unfortunately, the medication was not enough to stop his joints aging really fast, for that reason the doctor suggested that he receive an ejection called HUMIRA every month.

Five years ago, he had his first surgery to replace both knees. Two years ago, he also had a surgery in his right hand to fix a broken tendon. Recently we noticed that he was not walking properly so we went to the doctor and the doctor told Mauricio that he needs a HIP AND SHOULDER SURGERY. The HIP HAS TO BE REPLACED because it is preventing him from walking properly and is affecting his spine.

The doctor has said that to protect his joints it is necessary a medicine called MABTHERA /RITUXAN.

All of his previous surgeries and medication were covered through family saves. However, now it has not been possible to save enough for THE URGENT SURGERY AND MEDICATION. For that reason, we are asking for your help trusting to your kindness and big heart.
