Support Yuri in navigating this difficult journey ahead with regard to her financial needs. Yuri has no income and no supporting partner, since her husband was tragically killed in a motorbike accident in Thailand a week before their baby was born.

Original story:

Yuri is an expat living in Thailand and is due to give birth any day to her first child. On Tuesday morning, her husband went out and didn’t come home. Yuri started to worry, so she contacted the police Wednesday morning. This is when she discovered her husband was involved in a tragic motorbike accident, and that he had sadly died at the scene. This news is devastating to anyone, but with Yuri being so close to giving birth to her first child she is really struggling.

He was her financial support since becoming unemployed earlier this year. She has no income and no access to her husband’s accounts. Yuri has no family support here in Thailand and can not fly due to her due date being so close.

We’re asking for urgent help to pay for the hospital fees for Yuri to give birth. Which will be any day now.

“Tuesday morning I was still with Andrea, he hugged me tight and was so lovely to me. He wrapped his arms around my baby bump and said he couldn’t wait to meet our daughter. That was our last moment together. Which I will forever cherish. I am devastated and I’m trying to be strong for our baby. He has given me the greatest gift which is our beautiful daughter.”
