Help with an urgent operation for my friend’s mother

The mother of a friend of mine living in the Philippines needs to undergo a critical operation in the lower parts. The need arises as the conditions of living are very poor in the district where my friend is residing. My friend is unable to support his mother with the operation as he happens to be infected with Hepatitis B which poses significant limitations in order to work abroad.
