Help WatotoWetu Tanzania to get all basic needs

WatotoWetu Tanzania is a local, non-profit and non-governmental organization which was established in 1998s. The Organization was registered in 2001 and in 2013 received a certificate of compliance to take care of the most vulnerable children and youths, such as orphans, street children, domestic workers, victims of child trafficking and marginalized children. The organization provides education and supports the children and youth to meet their emotional, social and material needs. Founded and established in 1998 by Mr. Evans M. Tegete who was a victim of being in the Street

At this moment the organization takes care of 61 children and youths. Organization divided into two centers which are Mbezi which is located at Ubungo district in Dar es salaam region currently remain as the dropping center accomodating 17childeren, nursery and primary school level and Mazizi –Msata located at Chalinze district in Coastal region there we have 44 children and youth from O-level to A-level.

Our vision is to enable the individuals and society to take their future into their own hands and live independently.

Our mission is to help orphans and vulnerable children and youths of any age, origin or religious belief through provision of quality education, awareness raising, capacity building, and other basic needs in collaboration with governmental institutions, non-governmental organizations and individuals.

1.3 Our Motto

“Child welfare, staff commitment and partnership” is WatotoWetu Tanzania‘s motto. We believe that helping the children and youths is only possible with an entirely committed staff that works in partnership with our beneficiaries.
