Help Vicky fight cancer

Hello family, friends and anyone willing to help.

I am Dante Amoy, the loving husband of Vicky. I created this page to seek help in supporting my wife's fight in battling cancer. She is diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and already underwent chemotherapy for 6 cycles. She also had an operation in between cycles to drain the fluid found in her heart and one of her lungs. It’s an exhausting process so far with all the expensive tests and scans, not to mention the medicines, but we are not giving up.

Doctors recommended testing for biomarker to know if she is a candidate for targeted therapy.
She tested ALK positive. Among lung cancer patients, only 5% has this genetic alteration. Currently, her body is responding well to an ALK inhibitor drug which is Xalkori (Generic: Crizotinib). Unfortunately, this drug costs $110 (roughly Php 5,585.00) per capsule and has to be taken 2x a day (P11,170.00). We were able to register in a cancer patient support program that would allow us to get this medicine for free for 5 years provided that we complete 1 year prescription which costs around 1.9 million Philippine pesos.

Without a permanent job, it’s already very challenging for me to support the living expenses of my family including the education of our 2 teens. We would really appreciate any amount donated through this page. Everyday I see my wife with a lot of positivity. Vicky is a fighter and knowing that there are people out there who is willing to join and support her in this fight will make a huge difference.
