Moving Our Fur-baby Family

Roughly two years ago, a mamma dog decided that our home was the place to bring eight beautiful pups into the world.

It hasn't been an easy journey, let me tell you. We spent the first year trying to find them homes here in Taiwan but only succeeded in finding one loving home. We are pretty sure one of them was taken by a local without our permission, and another two went missing. We had thought we found a good home for one of our pups with a monk. Within one month he dumped her back on our doorstep looking like he hadn't fed her once. She has had issues ever since, but little by little, she has been healing from the trauma. Another would-be adopter thought he could stuff two of our dogs into a small cage when even one dog couldn't fit. I told him him to leave. From then on, we felt that finding loving homes for them wasn't likely.

And so, we were left with four pups of our own and have done our best to raise them right. After 6 years in Taiwan, we chose to move to the States and to take the whole family (4 dogs and 3 cats) back with us.

It is very expensive to fly this many dogs and cats overseas and we aren't able to cover all the costs yet. They are family and giving up on them isn't an option.

Please help us get our babies overseas as we couldn't live with ourselves if we had to leave them here. Many dogs wind up in traps, maimed by cars, and much much worse. And if they wind up in a public shelter, they will just live the rest of their lives out in cramped conditions with numerous other dogs, little space, and no freedom. And worst of all, no love.

We are currently getting all the permissions set up so we can take them back, plus we have already found one volunteer to take two dogs back for us. More than anything, we just want to see them safely back home with us.

The cost for taking one animal by plane is already very high and we are moving seven. Please help in any way you can!
