Some of you may know that my life partner, my soul mate, Hamada, has been kept away from me by civil and political unrest for 10 years now. We have been fighting an endless battle against bureaucracy to bring him safely home so that we can be reunited for good and live as a true couple.

This fight, separation and civil unrest have greatly impacted us emotionally, physically and financially. Whilst this situation is taking every day a bigger toll on us, our tremendous efforts have not been fruitless.

We are indeed near the finish line after all these years… facing the last major hurdle. We hope to finally get married in August in his home country through a procedure which will be recognized internationally so that we can live together forever without being separated anymore. To make this dream come true, we are calling upon your kind support to cover the significant administrative fees to release all the necessary papers. Without your help, we will unfortunately not be able to reunite and come home together.
