Help us to get quality drinking water

I am Ramireddy, Web Developer by profession. I am one of the village members of 'Reddinnapalli'In Kurichedu Mandal of Prakasam Dt. , As we all aware that drinking water issue rural areas was severe people in villages are not aware of the quality of water what they are drinking, Especially in Prakasam District the groundwater quality was worst but people in rural areas like our village will mostly depend on the groundwater for drinking water needs. As drought situations continue from last 2 years in the area the groundwater levels were decreased and chemical concentration in the water increased. Which leads to severe health issues in the villagers like Bone weakness, Eye cataracts diseases etc. Recently almost 35 peoples affected with cataracts. Its increasing day by day without any age limit.

So we youth & Well-wishers of the village formed as a committee to bring the village out of this situation. For this, we tested the groundwater in the laboratory found some chemicals are in dangerous levels so these water needs to treated before drinking so we planned to purchase an RO Plant for the treatment, with this application we approached government officials for the help but resolution was getting delayed as usual. and this throws our village into another "Uddanam" like situation. By following the proverb " Prevention is better than cure" we came to this platform to raise crowdfunding to get the village out of this situation at the earliest.

Currently, our youngsters donated 50000 rupees from their two months salary for this project progress. We need more money to buy the RO Plant equipment. That's around above 1 lakhs. With available funds, we have started digging borewell and constructing a shelter for RO plant.

We are looking forward to your moral and economic support to give the healthiest life to 150 Nos of village lives and next young generation.
