Help us to buy land and build a rescue shelter

After being informed that the government is planning to build a housing estate at the side of our rented shelter, we know it will be impossible for us to remain there. We've already received complaints from one of the neighbouring houses which has brought the police to our shelter twice. This will be our third move since starting the charity and it's a huge upheaval, moving all the dogs and fixtures that we put in place to keep them safe. We have decided to fundraise to try to buy a remote plot of land and build a small house for permanent staff who need to be on site 24/7. This will ensure we don't have to move again.

Update: We are trying to raise £40.000 to secure land for the dogs to have enough freedom to run around and play, a shelter for the dogs, also for us to have a joglo (sturdy wooden house). Included in the cost will be the legal paperwork for ownership.

We have already found the perfect land and it's a very rare opportunity at half of the price we anticipated. It has one small building and already has a walled border, which may require some tweaking in parts. It's remote enough that the dogs won't disturb a community.

Please see the reference photos. We must act fast to secure this land. As we are a yayasan, we cannot take a loan for a mortgage, so payment must be up front.

Anyone who has followed us for a while knows we have faced struggle after struggle, but have battled on relentlessly to try to give our rescues the best life possible. This is our largest fundraiser to date and is solely dedicated to this project. We will also continue to try to raise funds to buy food, medical supplies and veterinary care on our social media platforms besides this dedicated fundraiser, so please try to continue to support us in any way you can 🙏🏻
