Campaign Story
Our beloved Samoyed, Haku, 8 years old, was recently diagnosed with nasal cancer. Although devastated, we initially chose to remain hopeful because our local vet had painted an optimistic picture. Haku had to have his nose surgically removed to prevent the cancer from spreading but we were assured that a course of radiotherapy at an animal hospital in Bangkok would eradicate the threat.
However, as soon as we arrived in Bangkok, things took a turn for the worse. Haku’s condition continues to drop and we can no longer predict what’s going to happen and how long the process is going to take. The medical treatments also become complicated due to lack of knowledge and diagnosis in Indonesia.
We’ve been doing all we can to not lose hope but this uncertainty is terrifying because the mounting cost is not something that we had expected or could afford. We know that this is a lot to ask but it would mean the world to us if you would be so kind as to donate what you can.
We cannot give up on Haku especially we have come this far and while he is still hanging on to life. We love him dearly and we could not betray him while he needs us the most. We also hope that our case will serve as an alert that our country medical quality is alarming, as the number of pets continue to grow but there are no the least decent medical knowledge and facilities, we are not able to give our beloved pets proper medical helps.
Thank you for your love and support. Any amount is greatly appreciated.

Update 1
Update posted by Vera Winata at 04:26 amWe finally can get Haku to get CT scanned. The results showed a small inflammation near the nose and some mass nearby his liver. Still unclear whether these are cancer cells. Further tests and biopsies are still needed
