Help us save my Mother from Potts Disease

I am Joan R. Coligado,the photo above is my Beautiful Mother.

Her name is Rowena R. Coligado a Mother of 5.

She was diagnosed with Pott's Disease.

Pott disease, or Pott's disease, is a form of tuberculosis that occurs outside the lungs whereby disease is seen in the vertebrae. Tuberculosis can affect several tissues outside the lungs including the spine, a kind of tuberculous arthritis of the intervertebral joints.

She was confined at Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center last 31st of May 2019.Her legs were paralyzed due to Potts Disease .As our specialist’s advice, operation in the spine would need to be conducted very soon to prevent the situation from getting worse.

The hard part is, we need a huge amount of money in order to pay for the operation specially to be able to buy the Spinal Implants Multi-Level Titanium pedicle screws with cage worth Php 195,000 to be exact, just for the spinal implant alone.

I have attached several photos that include the quotation from the supplier of the titanium metal needed for her operation. (Please bear with the photos as My Mom who is happen to be a patient sent me these) .You can see the Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) Scan, results with specialist’s impression/diagnosis.

We sought assistance from local government , PCSO ,DSWD and it helps us partially.However, it’s really not enough.

Our whole family is helping my Mother get through these hard times in terms of financial and spiritual support.

However, coming from an average family in terms of income, it is very difficult for us to gather a huge amount of money soon as possible.

So here I am trying different options that might be able to help us even just a little. Because I believe that a little help may seem small but the ripple effects are extraordinary and are big enough to fill someone’s hopeful heart.

We are humbly knocking at your good heart for any financial assistance that will help us A LOT with the titanium screw which cost Php 195,000 (spinal implant).The treatment might be quiet expensive but we are blessed to know that there are kind people like you. No matter how big or small, as we can also extend our 'prayers' for her complete healing which is much more powerful!

We also want to take this opportunity to THANK each and everyone- our family, friends, relatives, brothers and sisters in Christ, genuine people, who prayed and helped us financially and most of all, emotionally & spiritually strengthened us.

God has a purpose for this to happened and it doesn't matter what we bear, the pain and tears will end and we know for sure that a season of miracles and blessings are on the horizon and we won't give up! God is the Lord of all creation, He is always in control, He is our great healer and He will get us through it. It always seems impossible until it's done.
