help us save maria lourdes fight against chronic kidney disease

This is Maria Lourdes Cortes - a wife, a mother to three sons, and a grandmother to three wonderful little grandchildren. She is humbly living in their simple home in Pasay City.

Behind her beautiful smile is a mother and a woman who is battling for her life, as she was recently diagnosed with a chronic kidney disease that needs to be treated with dialysis because of the rising level of creatinine and toxins in her blood. She is also living with a heart condition since 2015 and had suffered a mild stroke in the same year. The doctors also told us that her lungs are now being filled with fluids. Her heart rate is also beginning to become weak. They also advised that she needs to go through angiogram to check if there are any blockages in her heart's arterial system.

Last week, she started complaining about her shortness of breath and was vomiting from time to time. Her body starts to become weaker as she further battles with her condition.

Our uncle who is her husband decided to take her to our city's public hospital, but there were no available equipment to aid her needs, We’ve also tried taking her to a nearby private hospital at Pasay but there were no available rooms to admit her.

She has no medical cards, Philhealth, and health insurance.

And to aid her needs, I and my cousins decided to take her to another private hospital. She is currently confined in the Intensive Care Unit of the Makati Medical Center.

We are fortunate enough to have some people helping us financially. However, our expenses are really accumulating, and she still needs continuous treatment. Our savings are already depleted, and our salary is barely enough to keep up with our monthly bills. We would like to raise funds to give my aunt the proper medical treatment she needs. The cost of the treatment seems too much, but if we can all come together and help, then we can surpass this challenge.
Our family is really blessed to have met friends who support us in this battle. I have set up this post to try and give our Aunt a fighting chance.

Update: yesterday 9/25/19 she underunder went angiogram and angioplasty because of her coronary heart disease.
