There is an urgent need for support and intervention, especially for those affected by the devastating impact of suicide. We believe in the power of support towards prevention. At Victim Support Malta VO 141/08 have been providing our suicide prevention (SPOT) service to adults for the past 5 years. Join us in our mission to make a difference by extending our Suicide Prevention Outreach and Therapy (SPOT) services to include adolescents (SPOT+).

By providing SPOT+ services, we aim to create a safe space where young minds affected by suicide can find understanding and encouragement through professional support.

Why SPOT+ Services?

1. Tailored Support:

SPOT services are designed specifically to support people affected by suicide both directly and indirectly. The service aims at preventing persons who have been affected from becoming suicidal themselves. SPOT+ specifically targets the niche experience of young minds who struggle to cope with the aftermath of suicide.

2. Holistic Approach:

We believe in a holistic approach towards recovery. SPOT services deliver Psychotherapy, Counselling, Social work, Family Therapy and Psychiatric consultations to all those affected.

3. Destigmatizing Mental Health:

By promoting open conversations and awareness, we aim to address the stigma surrounding mental health, making it easier for adolescents to seek help without fear of judgment.
