Help us pay debts after dad died .

[My dad before his last operation]

Hi, my name is Hamed. We were a happiy family : me, my two sisters, mom and dad. In 2008 My father was diagnosed to have "coronary heart disease" a case in which the arteries of the heart are narrow and cannot supply it with enough blood. Everyday he was in awful pain, became pale, his lips turn blue and seems to be dying. Most of times he was relieved after taking those pills under his tongue ,but when it continues we have to take him to the hospital where they admited him to ICU.

Since then he had been taking very expensive medicine to help his heart. He had gone through two coronary catheterization procedures in 2009 and 2012. By the end of last year his health became extremely bad. Doctors said he had to go through really risky open heart operation known as "coronary bypass surgery" in which they replace his heart arteries with veins from other sites in his body.

Two months ago the operation was held. He seemed to be fine. I thought he was going to make it. I can't forget the last time I ever talked to him: It was a week after the operation. He was very sad because they talk veins out of his leg and his legs looked horrible. Poor dad, he didn't know he wouldn't use them again.The following day, he was dead.

What a shock to lose my beloved father and my only friend. I had no time to grieve my father. Money problems started to arise too soon. Unfortunately, his health insurance couldn't cover everything. We are left in debt. Too much debt for us to afford. He was the only provider to the family. We're alone!

For all the pain my father went through. I didn't wanted to to see anybody suffering. That notorious pain that hurts beloved people and makes us helpless, speechless and useless. I decided to study medicine.  Last year I was accepted to study medicine at Cairo University. My father helped me with the expenses. I also had to work part-time to help. I earned little money but I was happy to take some resposibilities over his shoulders. I got A+ at my first year. I really hope to be a good doctor one day.

My sister Sarah was admitted to Alexandria faculty of pharmacy this year. Dad would have been so proud. My other sister Sophia is still at school. But where can we get money for all these.

If you knew my father, you'd really like him. All he wanted in life was to raise us well. He was always similing. He was the most caring person I ever knew. He helped anyone who needed help even if dad himself needed help. You'd never see him complaining about his life. At his most extreme pains he tried to make us laugh. I'm proud to be his son.
