Help us lay our beloved Regie Mae to rest

Our beloved Regie Mae fought a good fight against colon cancer for over 2 years and although the mind is strong, the body has finally succumbed to the disease.

This campaign is to settle her hospital bills and pay for the funeral costs.

We are hoping to raise 300k pesos before November 21,2017 to pay for her funeral and final internment.

Afterwards we are hoping to raise another 1.3 million pesos to pay for her hospital bills in order for her death certificate to be released.

Our Full Story

Year 2015: After going in and out of the hospital for more than a month she underwent her first CT when they discovered a tumor blockage in her colon. It was on October 2015 when she was first operated and had a colon resection. It was deemed as successful and upon doctor's recommendation she underwent 8 months of chemotheraphy.

Afterwards she was able to enroll for 1 term before her symptoms started to reappear and thus she underwent another CT where they discovered 2 unoperatable tumors in her remaining colon. She was then recommended to try Stivarga but it did not affect the tumor, they just continued to grow until they blocked her colon again.

August-Sept 2017:She underwent surgery; 2 tubes and a colostomy to relieve tumor symptoms. 1 tube was where liquid can exit when she drinks and the other tube was where liquid food can be placed for her body nutrition. The colostomy was where her digested food can exit.

Oct 2017: Internal bleeding started to occur intense blood donation needed. Liver and Kidney startes failing.

Nov 2017: Still intense need for blood transfusion, Difficulty in breathing, low oxygen intake.Kidney and Liver gave up. She stopped breathing and heartbeat stopped.

Funeral arrangement by St. Peter. Wake started on Nov 15, 2017 at 262 JP Rizal st. Proj 4 QC. Planned last day is her interment on Nov 21, 2017 in Heritage Memorial Park in Taguig.
