Help Us Keep The JAM Project Open!

We're in pretty urgent need of €3,000 to cover our rent and bills till the end of this year and we're asking for your help.

Many of you don't know that since we opened last year we have never received any grants or funding. Everything we do is done voluntarily and we do this on the bare minimum costs. If you're wondering why we haven't applied for any funding, it's because we only just received our legal VO status two months ago (without which we couldn't access funding), and are now in the long and tedious process of opening a bank account. Until we have an official bank account, we can't receive any funding.

So this is why we're turning to our community - you have endlessly supported us with morale, love and enthusiasm. We hear so many wonderful things you all have to say about the JAM and it humbles us every day. And for that we are forever grateful. We never wanted to ask, because we wanted you all to have a free space - but we are looking to close our doors in the next two weeks if we can't come up with the money - something that we really don't want to happen!

It's been a rollercoaster ride since we opened our doors, and in-between full-time jobs, loosing our minds over bureaucracy, endless mistakes (or learning curves) and scraping our pennies together to keep the JAM alive - we wouldn't have changed it for the world. It's been an absolute pleasure to create the JAM with you and for you - no words will ever express how very much in love we are with the JAM and the community it has created.
