Help us have a better life abroad

Hi, our names are Matej and Simon, we are from Europe and we've been a couple for almost a year now. We started dating on Christmas (exactly 24.12.) and we love each other unconditionally. It is really difficult being in our home country, we are often ashamed of holding hands in public, let alone kissing. We decided to move abroad, but we are still in high school. Next year is the year, we have to start sending applications to colleges. Unfortunately, we are not eligible for any student loans anywhere. We don't come from a wealthy background, so there is no way of our family supporting us. We dream of having a better life and of moving abroad. Our dream country to study in is England, UK, but the tuition is really high for international students. We considered Canada, but the degree Matej wants to pursue is not available for international students there. The funds we need are for tuition fees only (14,250 GBP/year (approximately 17,000€) for one), we need 102,000€ for both of us to complete a bachelor's degree.

Matej's story:

When I was little, I always dreamed about being a doctor. I volunteered in clinics and I am also a member of the Red Cross. I have been through a lot, given the fact that I had to come out as gay in our country, where being a part of the LGBT community is seen as something I should be ashamed of, but at least some of my family started to understand. A lot of times, I was left heart-broken and felt alone because of my ex-boyfriends. But then, all of a sudden, I found a man of my dreams. A man that isn't afraid of any challenge, a man that is here for me and accepts every part of me, a man that makes me happy. A lot of things changed, I discovered that I do not want to be a doctor, but I want to help people, I want to be the one that is always there and looks out for them, no matter what. I want to be a paramedic, someone who helps people, someone who will be there under any circumstances and someone you'll first see in an emergency. I want to really help people and be understood, that is why I want to study the paramedic program in England. Today, I need your help. But tomorrow, if something happens, I promise to be there and be the one who helps.

Simon's story:

In my childhood, I experienced a lot of unfairness and bad people. I questioned everything and everyone, building trust was really difficult for me. I didn't have anyone before Matej and that made me horribly sad and I felt not wanted. A lot of people here didn't understand me and I had nobody with whom I could share my feelings and express love. I met Matej and I felt genuine happiness like never before, I knew that he is the one I want to marry one day and adopt children with. He makes me feel understood and loved. I always wanted to leave this country, but I never had anyone I could leave with. Now I have, but we don't have the funds needed. This can't be the only thing to stop us from leaving and being happy doing the things we love. We decided to try our luck here and hope for a miracle, but at least we will be able to say that we did everything in our power to achieve our dreams.
