Hello! We are a group of passionate and hardworking third year medical students, aiming to help build a better healthcare system for the Philippines.

This is why our team joined Innovate4AMR, a global student design competition which aims to improve antimicrobial stewardship in low-resource healthcare settings, with a goal to ensure access and increase equity. Innovate4AMR is organized by Action on Antibiotic Resistance (ReAct), International Federation of Medical Students Association, and The IDEA (Innovation+Design Enabling Access) Initiative at the Johns Hopikns University Bloomberg School of Public Health, with the support of World Health Organization and South Centre. We are proud to announce that our project proposal, "ANTIBIOTXT: An Outpatient SMS-based Active Monitoring and Adherence System for Antibiotic Misuse Reduction", won as one of the few finalists worldwide.

We have been invited to participate and present our proposal in a capacity-building workshop in Geneva, Switzerland on November 21 to 23, 2019. Attendance at the workshop is a requirement for remaining a finalist in the competition. As participants, we will have the unique opportunity to learn and network with AMR experts and other finalist teams in order to develop the project further. This is a great and exciting opportunity for us to not only further our knowledge as future clinicians, but also to implement an effective and efficient system in our local health setting. In line with these, we are humbly asking for your financial support, so that our whole team can grab this amazing opportunity. Help us as we take the first steps to achieving our lifelong dream of becoming change-makers for our country. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Sincerely, Team Batibot
