Help us build The ‘Becs’ Zammit Lupi Secondary School in Ethiopia

Hello Everyone, I will be doing the Camino De Santiago and the goal for this will be to raise money towards the construction of a school in Bonga in Southwest Ethiopia. Fundraising and works to complete the kindergarten and primary school are at an advanced stage and the funds collected will go towards the building of the secondary school - which will be set up in memory of Becs Zammit Lupi, and named "The Rebecca Zammit Lupi Junior Secondary School."

For those who know me, you would understand how important this fundraising is for me as I understand the struggles that Rebecca and her family have gone through during her fight against cancer. Is it a privilege for me to be able to raise funds in Bec's honor.

Becs, who passed away on January 3, 2021 at the very young age of 15, was inspirational to many people through her resilience and courage in the face of impossible odds, and the way she campaigned for access to education, as well as other issues, while she was ill.

All the funds raised will go directly towards the school-building project. All participants, will pay their own expenses on all the fundraising expeditions. Also all the participants have to surpass a minimum of Euro 500 in their personal fundraising efforts to take part in each expedition.
