My name is Saleh, and I'm a teacher from Gaza. The past months have been a nightmare for my family and me. We've endured the horrors of war, lost loved ones, and now face the daunting task of rebuilding our lives from scratch.The destruction brought upon us by the conflict has left us without a stable income for seven long months. With a wife, four children, and my parents, siblings, and their families all depending on me, the pressure is overwhelming.We were once in the north of Gaza, but the war brought devastation to our doorstep. My sister's house, along with her husband and five sons, was destroyed, leaving my parents inconsolable. We had no choice but to relocate to the south of Gaza, where conditions are dire. Unhealthy food, contaminated water, sweltering heat, and cramped tents have taken a toll on our health.I'm not asking for handouts; I'm pleading for a chance to provide a better life for my family. Donations, no matter how small, will help us afford nutritious food, clean water, and a safer place to live. Every contribution brings us closer to ensuring my children can continue their education and evacuate my family to live safely and my family can access the medical care they desperately need.Education is a fundamental right that I deeply value, and I dream of a future where my children can thrive in a world of knowledge.
