Help To Save My Family

I would like to ask to help my family and share the short story. Please, do not stay cold for an emergency, which can happen to anyone.

My parents - Angelica and Sergey - were a happy couple who got married in 1993. In 1998, a son Santino was born (that's actually me). They lived in perfect harmony and everything seemed great. However, nothing lasts for long.

In 2009, my mom was pregnant and was expecting long-awaited daughter, Jekaterina. It was an exciting event for the whole family. But a month before birth, the doctors informed us that my sister would be born with ovarian cancer. Doctors said, that they will have to have to fight for her life. The whole family was shocked, frustrated and scared, but all together, including my father Sergey, were supporting my mom and prayed for the well-being of a newborn.

When my beautiful sister Katya was born in October 2009, she overcame the surgery. While the family was worried about the baby, in parallel my father Sergey was preparing documents for a loan secured by an apartment. Nothing seemed to portend trouble, because he had done this before several times in order to invest in business. However, this time, when my father Sergey received the money from the bank, he left my post-op sister, my mother and me, and moved to Russia, where later vanished. He started new life using that money and left this family with a debt equal to the cost of an apartment.

My sister Katya was very sick when she was little, so my mother could not work for many years and stayed unemployed, receiving a penny as a compensation. The money she got was not enough to feed her daughter, provide her with proper medical treatment and pay a loan for an apartment. As a result, in 2011, the bank claimed property rights to the apartment due to debts and since then my mother has been suing till now to keep the apartment. She was trying to explain the court that the money credited for the flat were stolen and transported to Russia. But no arguments were able to make court hearts soft. My mom has not seen my father since he took the money and left, and no longer hopes to see him again.

In 2013, my mother was able to start working when my sister's health stabilized and she started going to kindergarten. Half of my mother's salary was taken away by creditors, making it hard to make ends meet. Also, the situation was aggravated by constant lawsuits, in attempts to save the apartment, arguing that children under 18 live in it, and the money were stolen.

In 2020, after years of courts, the only way to keep the apartment on the advice of a lawyer was to file for bankruptcy. However, the court was adamant and stated that the apartment would be sold for debts at an auction. The only way to save the apartment is to pay debts within six months. The total amount of debts is a miserable 67 thousand euros, but Angelica, whose salary was taken by creditors for all the years she worked, could not save enough to pay off the debts. With the current salary, mom will not have enough money to rent an apartment, which can lead to deprivation of parental rights.

My mother is a very kind and loving person who was betrayed and cruelly deceived by her husband. From my side, I have saved six thousand euros to help my mother, but unfortunately this is not enough. My mother told me not to ask for help on the internet, as she feels ashamed for her situation. But I do not know how to save my family in other way and I beg you to help me save my family.

Hope that we will be able to raise the needed amount to keep the apartment where my mother's great-grandmother lived.
