Help to rebuild English school in Indonesia

In the rural village in central Lombok island, Indonesia, I had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer in the BC Bright Course Foundation on November of 2019. The founder of BC Bright Course Foundation, Ahmad Fatoni also known as Mr. Toni, couldn't go to university because of financial difficulties. He decided to create the BC Bright Course Foundation in order to help the many unemployed young adults on the island, who could not afford to go to university. Mr. Toni now provides English lessons for students to help create future job opportunities, as well as daily classes for school children. This was all made possible due to money the school received from donations and Eco-tourism.

Initially, in 2010, Mr. Toni built on his own family land with help of the students and their parents the foundation building and began by giving English lessons to the students using volunteers in the village. Later, when the number of students increased (as they came from other parts of the Island), a new piece of land was bought with the money collected from donations and then preparations for a new school was underway.

In july 2020, the school was partly moved to its new location: Lantan Villag, Gubuk Kesah village, Distric of North Batukliang, Central Lombok Regency, Province of West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia

Currently half of the new foundation building is complete and has started to give daily lessons for school children:

Unfortunately, due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, the foundation couldn't make any money from eco-tourism and the new school building has been left half complete. More importantly, the foundation has been running out of food and resources due to a lack of funds.

After seeing Mr. Toni's passion and dedication to his students first-hand, I wanted to create this "GoGetFunding" page to help the Foundation. This is not an organization that receives support from the state in any way, but also receives a minimal fee from its students. Therefore, your donations are still needed for the school building to be completed.

You don't have to donate huge amounts, but small contributions can make a big difference. Please do not withhold your support and sharing!
