Roots Rasta Yard is a platform that wants to empower Rastafari culturally and economically through projects for the common good of the community. Rastafari is positive and loving, remember Bob Marley song - One Love? Sadly, Rastafari as a culture has been discriminated against and devalued for a very long time. Check how Rasta is treated for wearing dreads, smoking the traditional herb “marijuana” or simply how Rasta dress. I founded Roots Rasta Yard after graduating from Linfield University, USA with B.S, Business and B.A, Communication and receiving no significant employment of which I don’t know why; certainly the system won’t tell me poor Rastafari why, seen. Therefore, Roots Rasta Yard is here to empower Rastafari culture, dignity and economic growth.
This fundraising will help get money for Roots Rasta Yard land, thus, making way for sustainable developments for the people of today and tomorrow. This land will be used as our home and other Rastafari projects like farming, tourism and more community projects from people’s ideas. You and me have to believe that Rastafari can also do great things for the society given the opportunity and space to imagine and create. Thank you for donating money to this cultural and economical cause.
