Help Tita Tess Combat Chronic Kidney Disease

My aunt is suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease. Her condition is now at stage 5.

She is 57 years old right now, and used to devote her life taking charge of the family's store at the public market. She is very hard-working and loyal to her family and friends.

Her condition started last year, 2021, with severe hypertension. Her condition has worsened drastically on November 2021 when she had an emergency hemodialysis. Since then, she is having hemodialysis at least 2 times a week.

On February, this year, 2022, she had pleural effusion due to fluid buildup in her lungs, and had to have thoracentesis to remove the fluid. This has happened a couple more times.

On August 2022, she had another pleural effusion. This time it was determined that she has congestive heart failure (diastolic dysfunction) that causes her frequent pleural effusion. She had to undergo video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) to remove the fluid in her lungs that have thickened and cannot be drawn out by thoracentesis.

Her life savings have been used up already. The rest of the family, her siblings, and my cousins are all extending our help to her.

We are raising funds to pay for medical expenses that continue to pile up. We are also raising funds in the hope that she can undergo a kidney transplant, so that she can live a normal life again.
